seeing what others see
unsure of what to be
thinking what others think
doing all things easy
leaving problems unsolved
always with the need to be free
not endowed with mental faculties
without an identity
condition of self
womanliness thinks pink
easy to criticize of confused
I risk being mean
I know these women well
I have a continuous hurt
I have a personal truth
pain has dulled my flame
it still gives off light
contagious friendliness
taught my heart contentment
satisfied to be a good friend
time has told me
all I ever wanted was a good friend
a friend is conscious woman
like a child's mind
children understand friendship
I love my friends
I love women
I love poetry
