The Sandbox World

Understanding the Strength of My Soul

show me a man alone, I will show you a saint
show me an intellectual, I will show you a simple thing made hard
show me an artist, I will show you a hard thing made simple
I have yet to show my world and the people I know
how life revolves around true things, learn to love your truth
I have yet to show my world and the people I know
how people are important enough for personal concern,
you don't know how you look through their eyes
these pictures of you, you may never see for yourself

love needs a replenishing source, can you paint a picture of love?
love needs a sight for to see, it's this blindness, bumping around in the dark
when one teaches oneself about love, nature and inner beauty have to be learned
love needs wellness and healing, can you paint a picture of nuture?
romantic love is a mental illness, reality distortion syndrome, pure pleasure
by treating my mental illness like what it is an illness, a weariness of witherings
I've learned to be true to myself and my short comings, this understanding of problems
makes it easier to love, makes it easier to learn, more time is spent busy being happy
being in touch with my mental illness, allows a freedom profound, unbound & sound

people suffer everyday, finding your meaning is through sacrifice, suffering and struggle
people of character, make all those quotes about suffering true, I see the sorrow in you
I once walked with a friends in the darkness, now I suffer walking alone in the light
I suffer, to build character to learn from my mistakes, things we do for others and the world
will live on, immortal, after we are long gone far into the great numbers
the fear of suffering itself is greater than the suffering that takes place in the heart
for suffering in the heart is to know the oneness inside of you, close and true blue
for suffering in the external world and finding the needed freedom from it is to know pain
the pain from waiting, the pain of forgetting, not knowing which to do is true suffering

Ghostworld

Life is About People

By: George Waldrop

human nature, comfort in the mind
in my mind's eye, I see the people that pass me by
in my minds eye, I can see their faces of why
in my mind's eye, they can't understand this life
it's like no one ever told them, life is people

human frailty, perception through the senses
when my heart does cry, I see the people that pass me by
when my heart does cry, I can see their faces of why
when my heart does cry, they can't understand this life
to be lost from within, always coming back, start all over again

human force, personality influence with pacifism
when weakness shows through, I see the people that pass me by
when weakness shows through, I can see their faces of why
when weakness shows through, they can't understand this life
once is the chance we have at this life, chance to make it right

human pain, so many people suffer being so far from their heart
the misery of being lost into fantasy, I see the people that pass me by
the misery of being lost into fantasy, I can see their faces of why
the misery of being lost into fantasy, they can't understand this life
the problems we create within the wants, living beyond our means

human needs, happiness felt in the night, seeing the new morning
in need of love, I see the people that pass me by
in need of love, I can see their faces of why
in need of love, they can't understand this life
I will teach my world, people who are this, not to be treated as that

Who's Afraid of the Rain

Hometown Reality

By: George Waldrop

I hold you in high personal regard

the idea of respecting others as a lifestyle

shows that your life can be what you make it

reflect the respect of the excellence of you

thinking how right and wrong are not a feeling

dwell in your mental hovel of unsaid words to yourself

standing in your doorway with unexpressed left over emotions

peace of mind, clear conscience, clean hands of the good
