human nature, comfort in the mind
in my mind's eye, I see the people that pass me by
in my minds eye, I can see their faces of why
in my mind's eye, they can't understand this life
it's like no one ever told them, life is people

human frailty, perception through the senses
when my heart does cry, I see the people that pass me by
